No need to get that passport update to visit ancient architectural wonders. Join Egyptologist Dr. Foy Scalf to learn about the meaning, impact, and legacy of ancient Egyptian-influenced designs at Graceland Cemetery. Explore obelisks, mausolea, pyramids, temple facades, and other Egyptian-style grave markers. Further discussion will highlight members of prominent Chicago families who were Egyptophiles and had connections to the cultural heritage of Egypt and to local Chicago institutions.
